Gerald Gavin of Lake Katrine NY graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University at Albany.

During its Spring Commencement Weekend May 15-16, the University at Albany awared 3,141 degrees, including 2,260 undergraduate and 881 graduate degrees. The undergraduates received degrees in 50 different majors, with the largest numbers in psychology, business, communication, English, sociology, economics, history, biology, and political science. Twenty military veterans graduated in the class, with 87 students participating in the Presidential Scholars Program. The class became part of the global network of more than 147,000 living alumni.
