UAlbany Announces December 2008 Graduates

Allison Anton of Clifton Park NY graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary-Human Biology from the University at Albany.

UAlbany awarded 535 bachelor's degrees and 442 graduate degrees, including 289 master's and 72 doctoral degrees during its Winter Commencement ceremony on December 7. The ceremony featured a keynote address by alumna and IBM pioneer Frances Allen, '54, who received the 2006 A.M. Turing Award, considered the "Nobel Prize" in computing.
